Programming is the operator's vocabulary. A muddled vocabulary cannot deliver a clear sentence — no matter how well lit.

Programming is the daily expression of the thesis. It is what the guest actually encounters between check-in and check-out, and it either reinforces the sentence or steadily erodes it.
The mistake is treating programming as amenity. Amenities are commodities. Programming is editorial.
